Why Worry?

Today, i felt it again. You know that feeling when suddenly you're nervous and you're gasping for air and your heart beats like a wild car motor and your mind feels like it's going to explode and you can't sleep or even close your eyes?

The Fault in Our Stars - John Green

As a habit, i tend to jot down lines from books i read. For this one, i find the story really moving. However, after reading it, it somehow felt short. I just think the story isn't finished yet.

Anyway, these are the line that i liked. :)

I fear oblivion. I can be pretty blind to other people’s feelings.

I’m trying to observe young love in its many-splendored awkwardness.

From hideous romance to prentious fiction to poetry.

There were always more bad guys to kill and more good guys to save. New wars started even before the old ones are won. It was exciting to live again in an infinite fiction.

That’s the thing about pain… It demands to be felt.

I‘m in love with you, and I‘m not in the business of denying myself the simple pleasure of saying true things. I‘m in love with you, and I know that love is just a shout into the void, and that oblivion is inevitable, and that we‘re all doomed and that there will come a day when all our labor has been returned to dust, and I know the sun will swallow the only earth we‘ll ever have, and I am in love with you.

I think forever is an incorrect concept. You are an incorrect concept.

The world is not a wish-granting factory.

Some infinities are bigger than other infinities.

It‘s hard as hell to hold on to your dignity when the risen sun is too bright in your losing eyes.

Writing does not resurrect. It buries.

Pain is like fabric: The stronger it is, the more it‘s worth .

Grief does not change you. It reveals you.

Almost everyone is obsessed with leaving a mark upon the world. Bequeathing a legacy. Outlasting death. We all want to be remembered. I do, too. That‘s what bothers me most, is being another unremembered casualty in the ancient and inglorious war against disease.
I want to leave a mark.

Second Chances

GOD IS GOOD... ALL THE TIME. :) Second chances are hard to give, but they are always given to those who deserve them. I'm very thankful that even if I've committed a lot of mistakes, there's always another way of making up for what I've missed. It's always a learning experience. You can't deny the fact that everything in life has a reason. You just have to learn how to use them.

Sparks Fly

You'll never know fate unless you believe in it. When two people meet, it only means that such incident is expected. No matter where, when, why and how... It's inevitable. No wonder people keep on searching for their special someone. They simply know that they exist. Whatever the time or wherever the place, as long as they're with their destined partner, everything sparks with a feeling of uncertainty. Yet, the feeling's eternity.

Risky Opportunities

In life, there will always be challenges that you have to take. There will always be problems that you have to face. There will always be decisions that you have to make. Life is full of risky opportunities. You'll never know what each one holds until you grab one and have them before you. Never step back and keep moving forward. There's always room for something new.

Almost Tragedy

Last night, i had a near death experience. It was a mere illusion of darkness and frailty. Bedridden, with blankets on, it felt like i was slowly fading. My body was numb and my mind's quite hallucinating creating figures before me. I was fighting for consciousness. I tried moving my hands, but it was hopeless. I prayed... begging. After some few seconds, the dizziness was gone and i dozed off to sleep.

What was that? Was it a sign? Or just another delusion? That i do not know. But it was definitely not a dream.

By Chance

Funny how random things make your day. Simply because they come in an unexpected manner. No matter how much problem you have, there's always a reason to smile.
